Hoi, welkom bij de allereerste maandelijkse CraftaScope Blog Hop. Het thema van deze maand is Vintage. Bij Vintage denk ik aan kleuren als bruin, beige, oud roze, grijs…. Voor dit project heb ik het bij bruin, beige en oud roze gehouden.

Hi, welcome to the very first monthly CraftaScope Blog Hop. This month’s theme is Vintage. At Vintage I think of colors such as brown, beige, old pink, gray…. For this project I have kept it at brown, beige and old pink.

Laatst heb ik m’n taartdecoreerspullen doorgespit om te kijken wat ik nog kan gebruiken en kwam een heel lief baby-malletje tegen. Wat met marsepein kan, kan ook met klei, dus geprobeerd met een lief klei-babietje als resultaat. Daar wilde ik iets mee. Ik gebruikte het houten dekseltje van een kistje als ondergrond. Ik sponsde door het Flower Orbit stencil heen met Crumb Cake inkt van Stampin’Up. De randjes deed ik met Soft Suede, ook van Stampin’Up. De tekst is samengesteld uit stempels uit de Handy Helpers stempelset van CraftaScope. Leven komt niet in een cadeaupapiertje. Het kan op meerdere manieren worden uitgelegd. Kies maar welke uitleg het beste bij je past.

The other day I went through my cake decorators stuff to see what I could use and I came across a very sweet baby mall. What is possible with marzipan is also possible with clay, so I tried, with a sweet clay baby as a result. I wanted to do something with that. I used the wooden lid of a box as a base. I sponged the Flower Orbit stencil with Crumb Cake ink from Stampin’Up. I did the edge with Soft Suede, also from Stampin’Up. The text is composed of stamps from the Handy Helpers stamp set of CraftaScope. Life does not come giftwrapped. It can be explained in several ways. Choose which explanation suits you best.

Welkom bij de allereerste CraftaScope blog hop! In samenwerking met Nick Roberts, de eigenaar en ontwerper van CraftaScope ben ik deze blog hop begonnen. Ik was gewend aan de grote blog hops van Stampin’Up, waar bij het starten van een blog hop meteen een heleboel demo’s mee wilden doen. Maar dit is anders. Een klein merk, nog niet zoveel mensen die met de producten van CraftaScope werken en het begrip blog hop is nog niet echt ingeburgerd. Nog geen aanmeldingen dus, alleen ik en mijzelf. Ja, dat viel een beetje tegen, natuurlijk. Maar eigenlijk is het heel logisch… iemand zei ooit tegen mij… als je een zaadje zaait, heb je niet meteen een bloem. Je moet het eerst heel goed verzorgen en heel vaak water geven voor je resultaat ziet. Daar moest ik nu ook aan denken. Ik heb het zaadje voor deze blog hop gezaaid, ik ga het verzorgen en water geven tot het bloemetje bloeit. En dat mag best even duren. De deelnemers aan deze eerste blog hop zijn dus Jacqueline Bobeldijk en Jacqueline Bobeldijk.

Welcome to the very first CraftaScope blog hop! In collaboration with Nick Roberts, the owner and designer of CraftaScope I started this blog hop. I was used to the big blog hops from Stampin’Up, where when starting a blog hop a lot of demos immediately wanted to participate. But this is different. A small brand, not many people who work with CraftaScope products and the concept of blog hop is not yet fully established. No registrations yet, just me and myself. Yes, that was a bit disappointing, of course. But actually it makes perfect sense … someone once said to me … if you sow a seed, you don’t immediately have a flower. You first have to take good care of it and water it very often before you see results. I had to think about that now. I have sown the seed for this blog hop, I will take care of it and give it water until the flower blooms. And that may take a while. The participants in this first blog hop are therefore Jacqueline Bobeldijk and Jacqueline Bobeldijk.

Het thema van deze maand is Vintage. Ik heb met de ATC Card & Envelope dies eerst een ATC en een bijpassend envelopje gesneden. Het envelopje heb ik gesponsd met Crumb Cake inkt van Stampin’Up en met dezelfde kleur inkt heb ik een van de handen van de Handy Helpers de handen gestempeld. Vervolgens heb ik de envelop in elkaar geplakt.

This month’s theme is Vintage. I first cut an ATC and a matching envelope with the ATC Card & Envelope dies. I sponged the envelope with Crumb Cake ink from Stampin’Up and with the same color ink I stamped one of the handstamps of the Handy Helpers. I then glued the envelope together.

Op de ATC heb ik met inkt door het Weeping Willow stencil gesponsd. De randjes, de engel en de tekst zijn stempels van Stampin’Up.

At the ATC I sponged the Weeping Willow stencil with ink. The edges, the angel and the text are stamps from Stampin’Up.

De ATC Card & Envelope dies zijn superhandig om snel een leuke ATC met bijpassende envelop te kunnen maken. En je hebt niet alleen de kaart en de envelop in de set, maar nog een aantal hele leuke andere dies die in volgende blogs vast nog wel voorbij zullen komen.

Door allerlei redenen is het alweer een poosje terug dat ik een blog geschreven heb. Ik heb niet stilgezeten (af en toe ook wel, als er een lekker zonnetje in de tuin was), maar was vooral bezig met bijvoorbeeld voorbereiden van het Schelpenmandala maken, wat we op 19 mei hebben gedaan.

For all sorts of reasons it’s been a while back that I wrote a blog. I did not sit still (occasionally I did, if there was a nice sun in the garden), but I was mainly busy preparing, for example, making the Shell mandala, which we did on 19 May.

Maar nu toch weer een kaartje. Ik heb een basiskaartje en een label gepakt uit een leuk pakket van Stampin’Up. Ik wilde graag de creatieve hand uit de Handy Helpers stempelset van CraftaScope gebruiken. Deze heb ik eerst op de kaart gestempeld en toen op het label. Op het label ook de tekst gestempeld en nog wat spettertjes in bijpassende kleuren. Het label heb ik toen goed op z’n plek geplakt zodat de hand doorloopt. Boven en onder heb ik nog een strookje washitape geplakt.

But now again a card. I have taken a basic card and a label from a nice package from Stampin’Up. I wanted to use the creative hand from the Handy Helpers stamp set from CraftaScope. I first stamped this on the card and then on the label. The text also stamped on the label and some spatter in matching colors. I then stuck the label properly in place so that the hand continues. Above and below I have stuck a strip of washitape.
